Ramadan start in the world all countries from 11,12,13 March. Fasting is from the morning   to sunset.  People abstain from eating and drinking during this time.

These timings are different in different countries.

Countries near the equator have shorter fasting times. However, the fasting time increases in countries which are located in north and south poles.

Short and long durations time of fasts depend on the sun while in some countries the sun doesn't set at all, like Alaska and Gareenland. For Muslims in these countries, specific times are set for prayer, sehr and iftar
